Covid Vaccination Status

“Do not contact your GP surgery about your COVID-19 vaccination status. GPs cannot provide letters showing your COVID-19 vaccination status.”

We are unable to issue this certificate at the practice.

Please see Demonstrating your COVID-19 vaccination status when travelling abroad – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) for further information.

Proof of your vaccination status will be available on the NHS app, which is also valuable for accessing your health records and ordering repeat prescriptions.

The NHS app can be downloaded from here ‎NHS App on the App Store (apple.com) for iPhone or here NHS App – Apps on Google Play for android.

Alternatively, you can call the NHS helpline on 119 from 17th May and ask for a letter to be posted to you. This must be at least 5 days after you’ve completed your course of the vaccine; the letter may to take up to 5 days to reach you.”

COVID-19 Vaccinations | Peel Medical Practice

Please bear with us, we are doing everything within our control to push ahead with the vaccination programme. We will be following NHS guidance and prioritising the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine, contacting the first cohort of patients aged over 80 over the next few days.

If you have received a letter from the government and have been invited to a vaccination site and do not wish to travel to one you do not need to contact us to inform us as you will still be eligible for a vaccination from the practice.

When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccine, you will receive an invitation to come forward.

Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you are contacted.

Thank you for your support.
